Can you say Dr Lu??? One of dozens....

There are THOUSANDS of good papers out there against the hundreds that are flawed. I didn't say that some studies aren't flawed, in spite of efforts to prevent that via the usual mechanisms. I also acknowledge that politics muck things up in science, just as they do everywhere else...including right here on this list.

I can't really do the study right
so its valuable, so I will just do the little bit that interest me and will
get me funded....

Sorry but I disagree with you there.

The eggheads that are our researchers need to think about
what they do and say much more than in the past.

I'm one of those eggheads, I just don't work on honeybees. Everyone needs to think about what they do and say and that is always....past, present, and future. I'm not making apologies and I'm not saying I am perfect any more than every engineer is perfect, every farmer is perfect, or any other profession is full of perfect people....so I think you could cut science and scientists a little more slack.

Christina
