Back to the small hives, though, it occurred to me that using the same amount of equipment that I have now, I could run three times as many hives. If the average honey yield was one third of what it is now, I would still produce the same amount of honey and with a lot less work.


I have been doing thisin form  turns out to be a big boost in honey,  but alas  no victory on mites.singles only,  with 1 or two supers and constant removal.....  not exactly the same,  but smaller hives nonetheless.
