Hello Wayne,

Asia Minor seems to be known because of poisonous honey since
antiquity. Especially "Rhododendron ponticum" and "Rhododendron luteum"
are said to cause nausea, dizziness, headache, visual defects and short
blindness. Both are members of the family ericaceae. They grow wild in
big quantities near the turkish Black sea coast in the East of the town
Samsun.

Regards,
