So was I. Especially since a similar standard disclaimer is already stated at the bottom of the contents page.

>It seems to me rather than folks getting their panties all up in a wad that some reflection on this topic by Randy or one of the publication editors would be helpful. Folks do seem to get all wound up over issues that I consider a trivial matter... can't say I have ever paid much attention to these disclaimers but I alway thought it muct be something encouraged by either lawyers or insurance providers < all speculation for sure. I view this somewhat as I do my reading of the obituaries in the local paper... which is to say my name ain't there so I just move on.

>I do find some of the 'fuzzy and warm feeling' articles a bit 'strangely humorous'... which is to say that quite often I get the idea that the folks writing the article are a bit naive both in terms of bee and the bee business.

>I have been toting stacks of old ABJ and Bee Culture to get them out of my house and into hands that might enjoy an old read and one thing I would suggest is the quality of the b magazines has definitely improved over the years.

Gene in central Texas...
