So one molecule of IMI can potentially block one single synapse.  If that
IMI molecule breaks down to a metabolite that retains the binding site the
metabolite can block one single synapse but the parent IMI is now gone and
no longer exists.  

Okay,  help me out here,  I need to dumb it down again,   assuming with no
doubt the above is correct,  One molecule,  is the same as One part?  So if
I get a dose of say 5 ppb,  I block off 5 synapse?  Out of millions??  Why
is that a huge problem?
