Well, I for one, knew weeks in advance that this was in the works.  I even sent out an email alerting people to go to the meeting and support the officers that were in place, and were running for re-election. The Coup was able to motivate more people than I was. Probably a lot better organized, and a lot more motivated. They view it as a political organization to further their agendas, and I view it as an association for the promotion of camaraderie, mutual interest and respect. Being in the minority, that POV lost.
