Interesting article, but I have to object. And my objection goes
along the lines of my objection to the many articles and books that
raise issues with "assembly line" big-ag practices, yet never offer
solutions to feed the masses. Yes, "organic practices" is a nice,
romantic proposal, but will never come close to feeding our
overpopulated planet. It is easy to object, but no one offers an
alternative to accomplish the task at hand.

I read ad nauseum the objections to commercial beekeeping practices,
yet those objections are never accompanied with a plan to provide
pollination services in a manner that will provide the pollination
required to feed humanity. Simply pulling the plug on almonds is not
a solution.! So please, before posting another rant against
commercial pollination services, propose a viable alternative.

Aaron Morris - I think, therefore I bee!
(and I think I'll regret this post).
