I wrote recently about collecting bee specimens for a reasearch project. I
assume it made the list. I did not recieve any response.

Anyway I really need your help "bee folk". I want to have the best senior
research ever seen, heard or tasted.

I may have told you wrong about exactly what I need. I will take any
worker, drone, or queen for the collection but I need the following
information:
type of bee (Italian) scientific name if known.
name of person who mounted it
name of bee farm (if any)
        Place
        Date

I think I said to stick them through the abdomen, this was incorrect they
should be mounted through the thorax.

If you send any you may want to post what is sent so others don't send the
same kind although I will use all that are sent.

The display will be hung on the wall at the college (as it is college
property) for all to see and know the what, where and who's about each bee.

Could someone tell me if I could make the research paper available on this
list so that those of you who are interested can read through it to help
out with accuracy. I will be working on this all winter and will have to
turn it in Spring 98.

e-mail me for address

Sincerely,

Elizabeth
