Without being able to taste it, I would suggest that the common theme
here is probably coconut honey. From my time in Tonga, I found it to
be high-moisture (probably more to do with the climate than the
source...), dark and strong flavoured. It was always a real pleasure
to find some frames that weren't 'flavoured' by it, but with coconut
palms just about everywhere, that wasn't often...
