Dear Herman,
There is no family, Laminaceae. I believe you are referring to the Lamiaceae
which is the current recognized name for the older name, Labiatae, or mint
family. Thus peppermint, spearmint, catnip, patchouli, etc., are all members
of the Lamiaceae.
