When I saw this I felt I should add a note to it and that is.....
To create good, neighborly feelings between you and those living nearby, GIVE
them a jar of honey each fall as a "thankyou" from you and your bees from the
nectar they gathered from your neighbor's flowers. I have found that this
keeps my neighbors in a positive mood so that when they see some bees
(which, of course, they always assume are mine) at their dog's water dish
they think, "Oh well. No problem. I'll get some honey from those nice bees
soon."
This is especially important for hobby beekeepers who live within close
proximity to other families. We need to keep good PR at all times!
