Yes, I read a very misleading account.

It seems that he is a Pest Control guy - "Blue Sky Pest Control". He demurred on the term "beekeeper" when interviewed, correcting them to "Pest Control" but the press sticks to their own preconceived narrative no matter what the facts.

So, a bummer.  Not even a beekeeper.   This is about the same level of sloppy journalism as in the New York Times Article by a woman who merely had a few bees checking out her home as a nest site, and overreacted, even after speaking with the DC Beekeepers Club "swarm team", and presumably being educated in the difference between a swarm and a few scouts.  So she wrote yet another scare story.
