I like to anthropomorphize the problem with pesticides compromising the
bees immune system. Here is my take.
So there is this Bee suited human in a hospital ward with one or several
cat sized blood sucking ticks full of viruses on his back and a bad person
comes in and sprays some Raid in the corners of the room to kill some ants
and the Raid is what kills the bee guy because it compromises his immune
system.
Do I have that right? If so, we really need to outlaw Raid.
I am thankful that we old timers never had problems with pesticides
compromising our bees immune system since the pesticides killed them
outright. Those were the good old days.
