This thread brought back memories.

This seems a little like Richard Taylor's "shook swarm" method of making
comb honey, which, over simplified, amounts to getting a lot of bees into a
small space which forces the production of a lot of comb honey.

He was an interesting beekeeper and stayed with us when he spoke to our
State BK meeting in March 1995.
