That's a sweeping statement.  Is that intended to say:  1) Drone trapping does not alter mite infestations enough to improve colony survival? or 2) Drone trapping does not decrease colony survival?  or 3) Drone trapping has no affect on colony survival?


Also, is this statement based on self-reporting surveys or a properly conducted research project with controls, sufficient replication, etc.?
