But for us stationary people it is no problem at all as far as I can see
other than that top deep gets real heavy.  That may be good as it
discourages over frequent snooping in the brood chamber.

Its interesting that most beeks are moving to 8 frame stuff because of
weight.   And here in my yard not opening the brood chambers regularly is a
killer  we have lost about 10 strong hives (2 this week) from SHB   these
were 2-3 deep hives with a ton of bees.  Unfortunately when the beetles move
into the pollen band its pretty much over.  

I am no longer looking at the entrance and adding supers accordingly...
teardowns are now required.
