What's interesting is here in the USA where we have 2 USDA employees for every farmer and sometimes non existent bee programs on the state level, a large majority of beeks put more credence in the Bayer story, still use fluvalinate and coumaphous and lose 1/3 of our bees each year.

In Canada that has strong provincial bee programs a couple of key people like Medhat have made great strides in educating beekeepers about the number 1 problem varrora.

This is a prime example of what ABF, AHPA *could* and should be be doing with their resources. Instead they are sending 333 copies of the DVD Nicotine Bees to Congress and are completely silent on the comb miticide contamination issue.
