> What leads you to believe that Nosema C migrated recently to EHB?
Chris ; I am repeating what is stated in the nosema papers.
But I have the same opinion than you, we do not know how old is NosemaC in
EHB.
We know that Fries was the first one to describe Nosema C in european bees
by 1996-98.
We know that when searching on old samples, they find NosemaC older than
1990. In Uruguay they found some of mid 80's
But we can't be sure for how long it had been with EHB basically because no
one had the PCR ability long ago.
