So the worker would be a combined gene of the X chromosome supplied by the previous generation semen.
The Y chromosome would be courtesy of the queen's current generation.

These drones are from the current generation, so the effective genetic pool
is reduced.
The worker, a result of the XY combination uses 1/2 of that combination to lay drone eggs. Would the haploid eggs be a combination of X genetic material (previous generation genetics) and Y genetic material (current generation genetics)? Or, would all of the drone eggs all be of the same X or Y haploid set of chromosomes?
