Very little, I believe.  The Crisco effect is very weak, and my
understanding is that Crisco must be present in a hive pretty well
year-round to be noticable. Occasional Crisco use is likely of very minor
benefit, if any, if my memory serves me well. Maybe someone has a link to
more info on vegetable oil effects on tracheal mites? Dianna did the work,
as I recall.
