Soda Ash is cheap. A mix of Soda Ash and Diatomaceous
Earth tilled into the soil under and around the hive
might just do the trick. Any thoughts?

Reply:
Would this be to caustic for the bees the Soda Ash? Of
course if mixed into soil then they would not be bathing in
it though, just the beetles. This would relate to lime, but
not as caustic. Could lime be used then?

Sincerely,
