Those who are seriously interested in crop pollination may want to join
the mailing list, or contribute to the new United Nations Food and
Agriculture Organization's (FAO) Plant Production and Protection Division
(AGP), in consultation with FAO's Biodiversity Working Group

The worldwide decline in pollinators has attracted attention and a
project has begun to study and enhance pollination systems, as a part of the
efforts to build sustainable agriculture systems throughout the world.

Part of these projects include a newsletter, PollenBytes, and an
interactive database of pollinator/plant info. For more details and
information on how to sign up, go to http://pollinator.com/polnews.htm

I hope some of our group with real "hands-on" experience in commercial
pollination will get involved here.
