This morning a note came from Ted Greiner of WABA: <<Dear Friends, UNICEF is concerned and taking seriously the continuing threat that nursing breaks get removed from the ILO Maternity Protection Convention. Below is a statement from David Clark at UNICEF that you can share with your contacts working on the ILO campaign: "You can state that UNICEF is seriously concerned about this threat to the breastfeeding rights of working women, and that offices have been made aware of the threat. They may therefore be able to offer assistance or support in approaching appropriate national counterparts to ensure that they are aware of the human rights and maternal and child health implications of any attempt to undermine maternity protection." Sincerely, Ted Greiner>> I thought you'd like to know about it.
