I believe there are degrees of engorgement (like everything else :-)  These
definitions go back a long way. Newton, in 1948, described 4 stages from
fullness to ENGORGEMENT.  Transitory "fullness" is nearly universal.
Severe engorgement (no milk flowing)  is considered pathological (needs
fixing).
In general usage tho I think everyone (but LCs :-) call any breast fullness
after delievry engorgement.  The term isn't used correctly by the general
