I love his two versions of the Brahms sonatas, and his Beethoven Sonatas,
both with Emanuel Axe.  I'm very fond of his chamber music, especially
the Schubert G Major D.  161 with Gidon Kremer, Daniel Phillips, and Kim
Kashkashian and the Brahms Piano Quartets with a surprisingly mellow Isaac
Stern, Jaime Laredo and Emanuel Ax.  There is also a cd that is one of my
guilty pleasures: Ma playing Caprices by Paganini and encore pieces by
Fritz Kreisler, originally meant for violin and played unbelievably on the
cello.  Whatta guy!
