As somebody else pointed out: Bach transcribed some of Vivaldi's concertos, and B wouldn't waste time on music lacking inspiration. People also tend to dismiss Paganini as a composer, but think about the number of composers who has (re-)used his music: Schumann, Liszt, Brahms, Rachmaninov... Mikael [log in to unmask]
