I've often considered the mighty peroration to Bruckner's 8th to be an
example of cyclic form, and the re-appearance of the opening horn call
at the end of Haydn 31 ("Hornsignal") to skirt its limits.  (And no, I
am NOT trying to start another war of definitions.) Another composer
who rarely gets credit for cyclicism:  Dvorak (New World Symphony).
