This makes sense - we have a 70 tree abandoned apple orchard on our place
and I've also seen 1-2 small holes in our cedar siding on the house that I
thought were due to mason bees. We appear to have quite a reasonable
population. Is there anything I should be more watchful of with the honey
bees and the mason bees co-existing? I really don't want to push the
natives out - will my honey bees 2-4 hives compete for the same resources?
Should I try to space my hive out more?
