Everyone in the USA: Please send me your anecdotes about breastfeeding in the workplace, which would support the need for breastfeeding legislation. Give me as many particulars as possible, let me know how public you want the notes to be, whether you think the person involved would be willing to appear before the media, etc. Just so I can toot my own horn, I'm including here the note I got from the legislative aide working on this. If you want the full text of what I wrote to her, please email me personally at <[log in to unmask]>, and I'll send you a copy. ------- Forwarded Message Follows ------- From: "Ravnitzky, Gail" To: "J. Many of the suggestions for other future legislation were already on a back burner and we'll keep looking at them, while many of the suggestions will be incorporated into the bill as the drafting process continues. Thank you so much for all of your help. You mentioned you had also received a number of anecdotes and stories supporting the need for such legislation. Those would be very very helpful to us in terms of putting together press conferences and answering media calls from around the country (although not all of them would have to go public). If you could help us develop a list of stories in one document, that would be immensely helpful. The stories could be problems at work in trying to pump milk, people being docked pay for breastfeeding, bad breastpumps, etc. Thanks again for your help. Gail
