Yes. A few years ago, while working at a downtown Washington DC hospital, a
fairly young sounding mom called one evening at three days postpartum to say
she had read the formula can for mixing directions and noticed on the label
some information stating that breastmilk was best for a baby. She said if
that's true she wanted to breastfeed her baby and wanted to know if it was
too late, and she was glad to hear that it was not too late. She may have
been exposed to similar 'breastfeeding is best' info prenatal, but it just
didn't compute at the time.
