I have also always been intrigued by the seeming discrepancy of intake between bf and bottlefed babies. Don't they tell people who are trying to diet to eat more slowly because the signals from the stomach which indicate fullness take about 10 minutes to reach the brain? (or the chemicals to signal satiation take that long to start circulating, not sure of the mechanism) So the notion that bottlefed babies eat more on average because they eat faster has a lot of merit.
