My experience with this drug and premie moms is that the drug is notably
NON helpful unless combined with frequent regular pumping if the baby is
not yet on breast. If the baby is on breast, frequent regular breastfeeding
(or some combination of pumping and feeding) is essential. If used without
this or whenver the mother remembers to pump, it will NOT work.

Since it is expensive and cannot be used for a long period due to side
effects (clinical depression being one of them), it is wise to tell mother
that this drug--and all others--are not a panacea for regular effective
stimulation of the breasts.

brilliantly disguised as impossible situations."
