Here is some more information: Besides Texas A&M Univ, East Carolina University in Greenville, NC (not UNC at Chapel Hill) have the two graduate programs in maritime archy and history. There are a couple of other schools that have courses or some undergrad pprograms, but these are the biggest. University of Hawaii is beginning a graduate certificat program titled Maritime History and Underwater Archaeology. It is designed to be a interdisciplinary program, and is semimodeled after ECU's program.
