A question I have for all you knowledgable folks:


Is there any way to tell what flowers HONEY comes from, other than looking at the pollen?


Here is why I wonder about it.  According to sources (I'd have to dig up), bees either forage for pollen, or nectar, or propolis, or water, but only one of these at a time.


So, pollen in honey doesn't necessarily mean that the floral source of the honey can be identified from the pollen.


There are differences in the sugar content of nectars.  Are those differences enough to determine the source?  Are there other ways to figure this out?
