> Perhaps it is that I unconsciously carry the belief that stings have a positive effect. If so, I don't mind. Just adding to more anecdotal observations, I had a wart on my index finger that just hung around for years.

I have always thought and always told people that getting stung on a regular basis is healthful, has potential beneficial effects. I have also seen warts disappear when stung directly.

On the other hand, I have two types of arthritis, -- arthritis being a catch all term for any sort of trouble related to the joints. And, I still have many warts, mostly small but some large smooth ones.

If I thought it would help I would increase the number of stings. Seems pretty clear that the whole thing is idiosyncratic -- works for some but not others. Being stung has other risks, including allergy and infection.
