Bee Liners;

I need to run field tests for hygienic behavior but will not have access to
dry ice in the locations I will be working. I have not done these tests in
several years and am curious to know if the pin prick method of killing
sealed brood is considered valid? If so, how large a section of brood
should be killed? Also, I used to pre-select by putting a piece of tissue
paper in a hive and looked for the hives that took it out within 24
hours. Is this a useful and valid indicator?
