I wonder if this is coming from a particular source. I have a similar story but from a feeding specialist/speech therapist giving the haberman and the advice. However, what totally blew me away is that the Haberman was totally misrepresented. Perhaps now that it is called a Special Feeder some providers assume it is different or for a different purpose? Not sure, but it was being represented and used in a totally incorrect manner. Because this issue has cropped up with a few different dyads I thought I'd explore where this misuse/mistundertsanding of the Haberman is coming from.
