Subject: URGENT CONSULTATION: Two
documents
Comments requested by 13:00 CET (
Dear all,
We are currently preparing a message about the next steps
for the Constitutive document, Rules of Procedure, elections etc drawing on the
discussions in
To assist in keeping the overview of all the documents and
deadlines flying around, we’ll also be sending you (and the whole Coalition)
an overview schedule for various processes in 2010 – 2011.
In the meantime, I’m
sending you two urgent sets of documents for your feedback. Unfortunately with
both of these we’re operating under a very tight deadline. Please do try to send your comments by 13:00 CET (
The two documents are as follows:
(1) Draft Coalition Statement (FIRST ATTACHMENT) –for
submission to next session of the UNCAC Implementation Review Group (IRG) next
week. This is a first draft and we welcome your feedback and comments.
(2) Draft Joint UNODC-TI Funding Proposal for Training CSOs (THREE SHORT
ATTACHMENTS) – This is a segment of the
original UNODC-TI proposal that I circulated some time ago. We heard from UK
DfID that there is a possibility that they might be able to fund this segment
in the amount of £150k (approx.US$
225,000) It relates to a single training session for CSOs in
a. Training proposal
b. Draft training agenda: we believe this still needs work
c. Budget currently under discussion: this is not yet
final
Tomorrow morning I expect to circulate another urgent
document for your comment.
Apologies for all these urgencies but these are the
circumstances confronting us at present. Your feedback would be most welcome.
Best wishes,
Gillian
