I didn't think there was an organic certification for honey because of issues like this - there's no way to control where bees fly... 



In the UK, the Soil Association has a set of criteria for certification. Having studied them, I gained the impression that they were translated from a foreign language by a non-beekeeper (eg they refer to 'male bees'). Upon enquiry, I was told that they are based un EU criteria, having been filtered through a government agency.  I cannot see that it is possible to produce organic honey in England except possibly in some very remote areas.
