ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions. ***************************************************************************** Hi Gloria, I think I misunderstood what you were interested in this morning when we spoke on the phone. I didn't realize you were trying to find a new home for an exhibit. I also thought you were talking about an exhibit called "Hatching the Past" which this doesn't appear to be. I was under the impression you were looking for marketing tips for new exhibits from other professionals. Sorry about the misunderstanding. This listserv is non-commercial and is not meant for selling items. Our website states "Commercial activity, including marketing and advertising, is not allowed." We ask that members of the listserv abide by this policy. Again, sorry for the misunderstanding. I am a media relations assistant at SciTech Hands On Museum located in Aurora, IL. SciTech would like to let everyone know about an exhibit that is in search of a new home. The exhibit is called Bible Times Tech. What is Bible Times Tech? It is an exhibit that compares modern life to life lived about 3000 years ago (approximately 1900-600 BCE). This exhibit features all aspects of life, such as Home and Family, Food and Drink, Market and Society and Fun and Games. This exhibit is educational and interesting. Discovering that things have not really changed a lot is eye opening and astonishing. Did you know that the sippy cup has been around for thousands of years? How about this fact, it was common for animals to sleep in the same room with the family. These are just two examples of the exhibit. Many of the exhibits are "hand on" and some are to be admired under protective glass. If this exhibit sounds like something you would like for your museum please contact us. Thank you. For information on procuring this exhibit for your museum please contact: Roni Thevenot Gloria Bingenheimer SciTech Hands On Museum or SciTech Hands On Museum Director of Administration Media Relations Assistant 630-859-3434 x 229 630-859-3434 x 223 *********************************************************************** For information about the Association of Science-Technology Centers and the Informal Science Education Network please visit www.astc.org.
