Coumaphos & tau-fluvalinate contamination in wax is a problem.  Has anyone investigated the solvency of these chemicals in different solutions compared to the solvency of wax in the same solutions?  If, for example, coumaphos was soluble in water, then several washings in 200ºF water accompanied by extremely high agitation followed by  separation period might possibly wash most of the coumaphos out of the wax.  Using hot water is just an example, not a suggestion.  It's amazing what thoughts run through my mind when there is nothing pressing to do.
