I will admit that I have not perused the archives on this, but have this question.  Has anyone tried sterilizing bees wax by using the pressure cooker (as in veggie canning) to sterilize small amounts of wax for use on repainting wax onto cleaned plastic foundation comb?  Also, what would those high temperatures and higher pressure do to any chemical contamination that might be in the wax being processed in the pressure cooker (autoclave)?  I have thought about doing this, but currently don't have any plastic foundation comb that is old enough to warrant refurbishing.  A curious mind wants to know.
