Expensive, very expensive... why not try Strapping first?
Get  two of those self tightening straps they sell at home
depot. You know, the cargo strap downs... they come
in multiples too.

Strap around the hive, from top to bottom, and through the
base unit. Use concrete blocks for instance. During the
bear attack the hive may well be knocked over, but the
integrity of the hive won't be compromised.

Assume too that the bees won't take kindly to being
knocked around and may well exit the hive with murderous
intent.

Something I would love to witness. :-)
