This opens the door to each and every feeding bottle and teat company out there to pretend their products are "intended for breastmilk", then claim the IBLCE is being inconsistent by not taking them on as sponsors also. It has the potential to be a serious undermining of the Code and everything it stands for. This seems to be a crunch time: lactation support organisations are going to have to throw down and publicly decide whether or not they wholeheartedly support the UN's efforts to improve global child health.
