Again, this is a matter of a natural cycle; a promotional blitz gets a
large group of people started with collecting, and their sales rise to
a certain level that plateau's out, and they get accustomed to thinking
that this is a steady state.  actually, once everyone gets what they're
interested in, they obviously stop buying.  I've got all 500 CDs I need,
and I need to buy more CDs just as much as the ECONOMY NEEDS TO KEEP
GROWING, which, in my humble opinion, reduces the economy to the level
of a pyramid scheme.  All things must pass, or sterben, as Bach would
say, and I must say I like the idea that entertainment lives on re-usable
hard drives somewhere rather than CDs in the landfills.
