Lee,

I received that shipment, also, and immediately emailed Lansinoh to complain.

Subject: LCs beware; was Lansinoh latch-on video

Dear Colleagues - Not only do we have to be leery of Artificial Baby Milk
(ABM) companies and some pump companies, but now we have another. Besides
the video, Lansinoh has put out a booklet on breastfeeding; it was reviewed
by the IBCLCs who work for the company. Unsolicited, Lansinoh shipped me a
box of 50 to distribute to pregnant women and lactating women. The booklets
had some incorrect information in the text and some of their pictures showed
terrible positioning/latch. I called the CEO, pointed out the situation,
asked to be taken off their mailing list, and asked for a return label with
shipping fees paid. Then I suggested to the members of ILCA affiliates in
the area to do the same with the booklets they had received. Some of the
IBCLCs thought that was a good idea. We also discussed that Lansinoh is
owned by Pigeon, a WHO Code violator.
