Michelle,
I hope you can check the archives, because I have many posts on this very
subject, if you care to read any of them.
Basically, I would assume the baby is not getting enough milk. Stools and
urine in the hospital do not predict stools and urine
on day 5 or later. I would want to know about the milk surge, and I would
want weights and observations of feeds, breasts, etc.
Detective work is indicated here, as to whether this is a mother issue, a
baby issue, or a combination.
