hmmmm...interesting little thing I noticed. Nowhere does it say "breastfeeding" is what is good for babies. It says "breast milk". I guess it is a matter of language, but I think breastfeeding is more than breastmilk feeding. If I only thought it was important for babies to receive breastmilk, I would not waste my time with latch issues, I would just rent pumps and be sure they pump often and maintain their milk supply. It does say when breastfeeding is established you can use their products. That is the only time breastfeeding is mentioned. Oh well, what can I say. In the end, all corporations are about profit and money is the only place they feel a pinch. I suggest we help them feel the pinch until they lose the bottle nipple advertisements. Unfortunately, choices are limited in terms of options for those moms who really must express milk with a hospital grade electric pump. What is available in the area, is what they have to choose from. Sadly, I think like all companies, Medela is well aware of this reality.
