I am wondering - is a pump company supposed to show just the pump and not the containers in which the milk is collected? Is it a problem to have bottles connected to the pump? I can't see flanges just dangling in midair. By showing feeding bottles attached to the pump it says, "You don't need a separate collection container." This would seem to encourage moms to pump and feed their milk in their absence rather than have a baby receive the other stuff is mom isn't feding directly for whatever reason. I suspect some moms would be put off by having to have one container for collecting and still another for feedings . Yes, we might like them to use a cup, spoon or whatever, but too many moms aren't comfortable with those choices for long term. My point is, is it when the bottle is disconnected from the pump that it becomes a violation?
