The fifth annual meeting of the Contemporary and Historical Archaeology in Theory (CHAT) conference group meets in Sheffield this November. The conference explores three themes - 'faith', 'hope', and 'charity' - from a variety of archaeological perspectives, in papers focused on the archaeological of the recent and contemporary past (c. AD 1500-present). CHAT 2007 runs from 9.30a.m. on Friday 23rd November 2007 until 1.00pm on Sunday 25th November 2007. All sessions are plenary. The full programme is online (URL below).
